Job Description

My client are looking for a full time customer services representative to assist with responding to customer queries, messages and handle customer service related phonecalls. Candidates should be able to display the following skills, and will be requiredto do the following:

  • To understand the processing of orders received through online sources and over the telephone. This includes determining the most cost efficient way to send the order, by using mathematical formulae for courier calculations.
  • To handle and be responsible for customer service related calls and emails. This will include being trained on how to messages and emails via online platforms that we sell on.
  • Previous experience in customer service related fields is beneficial, although not essential.
  • Should be able to handle tricky customers and disputes, and remain calm and effective when under pressure. Should also be prepared to take full responsibility for their role, to ensure all customer queries are responded to on time.Candidates should havethe following please:
You should have:
  • Grade C in GCSE Maths & English mandatory
  • Knowledge of how to use computers, including Microsoft office
  • Able to browse on-line easily and effectively, and are familiar with intermediary marketplaces such as ebay and amazon
  • Experience with photoshop preferable, although not mandatory
  • Ability to work hard and effectively
  • Enthusiastic and motivated in their approach to their career
Salary Package / Working HoursThe working hours for this position are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 6pm and Fridays 8.30am - 5.30pm. The starting salary for this position is £24,000 per annum and additional hours may be required if the days work is not completedon time, which will naturally also be paid. There will be annual performance reviews and annual reviews of the remuneration package.Please be aware this advert will remain open until the vacancy has been filled.
