Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Site Manager to oversee the successful execution of our clients’ Haverhill site. The Site Manager will be responsible for managing all on-site activities, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuringthat projects are completed within budget, on schedule, and in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.Our client is an organisation specialising in waste management who pride themselves on their service, company ethos and community involvement. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a growing, forward-thinking company which has seen substantial growthover the past three years, with further expansion planned for the years ahead and continue to operate the "right way!"Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Conduct regular site visits and inspections to monitor progress and resolve any issues or delays promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards.
  • Implement and enforce proper safety procedures and protocols on the construction site.
  • Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
  • Supervise and manage on-site personnel, including subcontractors, laborers, and other team members.
  • Provide clear instructions, guidance, and support to the site team to ensure efficient and effective project execution.
  • Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Monitor and maintain high-quality standards throughout the construction process.
  • Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to ensure adherence to project specifications.
  • Address any quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and project managers.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports, including project status updates, budget tracking, and milestone achievements.
  • Communicate effectively with the site team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure clear and timely information flow.
Skills & Experience:
  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or similar role
  • WAMITAB
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to travel to various sites.
