Our client has been a market leading business for over 90 years within their trade and has offices inover 20 countries worldwide. They require a Quality Control Technician to join their team based in Suffolk. The primary focus of this role is to ensure consistent product quality, ensuring that the Products database is fed with the latest updates at all times.In addition, you should ensure timely attendance of customer complaints. The ideal candidate will be focused, have strong analytical skills, and be able to clearly articulate highly technical concepts.THE ROLEPreparing, applying, testing, and measuring of test material samples.Recording, analysing, and reporting of results and data.Setting up, utilizing, and cleaning the environment and equipment needed for investigations and experiments.Ensure the suitability of laboratory equipment through proper operation, maintenance, calibration, verification and good quality control and assessment activities.Responsible for quality assurance testing of in- process samples, raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods within the scope of the Company Quality Policy.THE PERSONBachelor of science in Chemistry or relevant degree2+ years of experience in QCConstruction chemicals experience is preferredProficiency using SAPPreferable Experience Experience within building materialsExperience within colour matchingExperience within construction (and or) chemicalsTO APPLYPlease apply for this position and your CV will go direct to Kyle Jevons who is leading the search.
