Job Description

An interesting and very varied role working for a great MD as part of his amazing team They have a massive online presence are looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Administrator who is familiar with freight to hit the ground running.The Role

  • Process purchase requisitions, proformas, and orders to ensure accurate records
  • Liaise with suppliers for delivery dates and ad-hoc operational queries
  • Scheduling deliveries, calculating landed costs, ordering containers and booking in stock
  • Support new supplier on-boarding and scrutinising all invoices
  • Ensuring product details loaded into product database
  • Maintain prices on selling platforms
  • Raise product EAN numbers and barcodes on the GS1 website
  • Ensuring systems are updated and maintained with the latest information
  • Working to company set KPIs
  • Analyse and report statistical data for the purchasing team
  • Attending meetings with your line manager to update on issues
  • Preparing own emails and correspondence
Skills and Experience
  • Experience in a Purchasing role
  • Be adept with inhouse systems MS Word and Excel and ideally a SAGE
  • Able to multi task and work to deadlines and a team player
