There couldnt be a better time to join EUROAPI UK, a Sanofi company with 1 billion in sales projected by 2022 and plans to become the largest Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturer in the UK & Europe.The OpportunityYou will join a team made up of 10 project engineers and process engineers, led by the Capital Projects and Engineering Manager. This is an opportunity to join us to run some exciting growth projects and ongoing capital projects at a site with unique capabilitiesand technology. Our 9-hectare site houses the largest pharmaceutical spray dryer and continuous manufacturing API plant in the world.You will: Work with customers and stakeholders to design, cost, scope and schedule works.Develop practical, innovative, cost effective engineering designs.Control expenditure and time schedules, escalate project risks and hit targets.Organise mechanical testing, commissioning and validation of new facilities and equipment, ensuring quality assurance, environmental, health and safety factors are adhered to in a GMP setting.The CompanyEUROAPI is a new player in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) created within Sanofi with the purpose of becoming an autonomous company in 2022.EUROAPI will combine Sanofis API commercial and development activities with six of its European API production sites located in Brindisi (Italy), Frankfurt Chemistry (Germany), Haverhill (UK), St Aubin les Elbeuf (France), jpest (Hungary) and Vertolaye(France).By operating autonomously, EUROAPI will have a broad portfolio of volume and niche products and will leverage an extensive commercial network covering more than 80 countries.We are looking forAn Electrical Engineer or Chemical Engineer.Project support or project management experience gained in a pharmaceutical, medical device or petrochemical industry.Experience in API manufacturing and GMP would be highly desirable.What we can offer youAn excellent benefits package: we pay 10% of your base salary into your pension annually with no contribution from you.
