Job Description

Process Technician - Production Temp Hourly Rate - Contract until June 2022Haverhill, UKThere couldnt be a better time to join EUROAPI UK, a Sanofi company with 1 billion in sales projected by 2022 and plans to become the largest Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturer in the UK & Europe.The OpportunityYou will report to the Shift Manager, joining a large production team to operate, monitor and control the production line ensuring the delivery of essential pharmaceutical ingredients to patients and customers.This fantastic opportunity is open to those with experience in production or those who are keen to develop new skills: learning good manufacturing practices, production procedures, and making a real difference to peoples lives.You will:

  • Operate, monitor, and control part of a production line producing pharmaceutical products
  • Perform downstream process according to written process instructions to achieve safe, quality intermediate or finished products
  • Facilitate the movement of raw and waste materials within manufacturing
  • Perform and record cleaning operations for process plant and equipment to meet laid down specifications
  • Manage stock issues to business system and ensure supporting data is updated
The Company EUROAPI is a new player in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) created within Sanofi with the purpose of becoming an autonomous company in 2022.EUROAPI will combine Sanofis API commercial and development activities with six of its European API production sites located in Brindisi (Italy), Frankfurt Chemistry (Germany), Haverhill (UK), St Aubin les Elbeuf (France), jpest (Hungary) and Vertolaye(France).By operating autonomously, EUROAPI will have a broad portfolio of volume and niche products and will leverage an extensive commercial network covering more than 80 countries.We are looking for Excellent attention to detail and communication skills - you will work on a team and be expected to keep accurate records in line with GMP and regulatory guidancePeople who can work 12 hour shifts, nights, and days on a 4 on / 4 off shift pattern, picking up overtime to support production and the team when requiredExperience or an interest in the production process - you may have worked in pharma, food or chemicals, or other related industries previouslyWhat we can offer youExcellent rates of pay and an attractive overtime rate.A fixed location at a great site where we offer unlimited hot drinks via our coffee machines and a subsidized canteen offering fresh sandwiches and cooked food for as little as £2.00.You can learn beekeeping with our beekeepers onsite, join one of our employee-led groups for animal lovers, wellbeing, exercise classes, and much more.Commuting to Haverhill is easy, we offer onsite parking and a location free from inner-city traffic.
