Job Description

There couldnt be a better time to join EUROAPI UK, a Sanofi company with 1 billion in sales projected by 2022 and plans to become the largest Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient manufacturer in the UK & Europe.The OpportunityYou will report to the Spray Drying Technical Lead joining a team of specialists in Contract Development and Manufacturing Operations. You will be leading and supporting technical transfer and scale-up projects. This is an opportunity to implement innovativeplant improvements and work with unique technology including one of the largest pharmaceutical spray dryers in the world. Your role will be varied and challenging, working on lab-scale projects right up to projects worth millions of pounds with a new teamwhere you can make an impact.You will:

  • Lead and support technical transfer projects acting as the single point of contact
  • Work with a range of stakeholders and teams such as production, customers, and development sciences to find creative solutions to challenges providing an on-plant presence
  • Seek and implement plant improvements working in tandem with key projects such as Fit4
  • Manage feasibility assessments, project planning, and plant requirements in line with process safety responsibilities, coordinating HAZOP/FMEA documentation
The Company EUROAPI is a new player in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) created within Sanofi with the purpose of becoming an autonomous company in 2022.EUROAPI will combine Sanofis API commercial and development activities with six of its European API production sites located in Brindisi (Italy), Frankfurt Chemistry (Germany), Haverhill (UK), St Aubin, Les Elbeuf (France), jpest (Hungary), and Vertolaye(France).By operating autonomously, EUROAPI will have a broad portfolio of volume and niche products and will leverage an extensive commercial network covering more than 80 countries.We are looking for Demonstrable technical transfer experience gained in chemical and process plant environmentsA relevant scientific or engineering degreeExcellent relationship-building skills: we want a proactive, hands-on Process Engineer comfortable working at all levels across different stakeholders including our customersWhat we can offer youAn excellent benefits package: we offer a competitive bonus; we pay 10% of your base salary into your pension annually with no contribution from you.
