Maintenance Technician Mechanical

Job Description

We are looking for a qualifiedEngineer or Technicianto join our maintenance team in Haverhill, UK. You will conduct mechanical maintenance activities across the plant and site to ensure weproduce, develop and manufactureactive pharmaceutical ingredientsfor our customers.Your Responsibilities

• Provide vital support to the Haverhill site for both reactive and pro-active maintenance.
• Provide specialist mechanical maintenance support.
• Perform maintenance activities on a range of assets from specialist manufacturing equipment through to vital plant utilities.
• Uphold the highest standards related to GMP, safety, quality, and validation protocols.
• Ensure adherence to daily safe-systems-of-work such as permit-to-work, safe-plan-of-action & LOTO.
• Support the development of knowledge across the team and promote new ways to work.

It employs over 250 people and has built a strong reputation in Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient(API) Spray Drying and Contract Development and Manufacturing Organisation (CDMO). Haverhill is proud to house the worlds largest, continuous production, pharmaceutical spray dryer and performs secondary packaging and release activities for oncology and raredisease medicines supporting global markets. The site is also developing a contract testing and release facility within its laboratories.Our RequirementsApprenticeship trained with a level 3 and above qualification - City & Guilds, NVQ level 3 or ONC.Your training would include machiningskills, lathes, pillar drills and welding. Broader experience in electrical would also be attractive.Excellent written and spoken Englishskills - you will be working with external and internal stakeholders and working in a regulated industry.A team focused mindset supporting the broader maintenance team and organisational goals.Hazardous area training and experience would be preferred.Your Benefits
