Job Description

Your Purpose Are you a EC&I Engineer, Maintenance Technician or working in Electrical and Instrumentationlooking for new opportunity Your role will be essential to maintaining the plant, enabling us to continue to manufacture active pharmaceutical ingredients in acontinuous manufacturing setting.Your Responsibilities

  • Action site calibrations on a multitude of mediums (temperature, pressure, flow).
  • Conduct problem solving and fault finding in a systematic and safe manner.
  • Maintain documentation in the calibration management system and ensure that key documents are created, reviewed and controlled.
  • Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance tasks around site in accordance with our site procedures.
  • Support the development of our apprentices, acting as a mentor to best engineering practices and behaviors.
  • Use predictive techniques to minimize maintenance costs and equipment downtime.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and facilities failures and effects repairs. Depending in specialism you may work on utility systems including electronics, instrumentation and controls, electrical and/or air.

We offer around 200 APIs to nearly 530 clients, present in over 80 countries.Our site inHaverhill houses one of the largest pharmaceutical spray dryers and continuous manufacturing API plants in the world.Our Requirements Demonstrable understanding of Instrumentation and Electrical principles and practices.City & Guilds/ NVQ certificate and/or demonstrated sustained competence in manufacturing maintenance.Strong communication and written English for the purposes of communicating with stakeholders, suppliers, technical help centers and colleagues.A team focused mindset supporting the broader maintenance team and organizational goals, taking on overtime when required and supporting the on-call rota Friday-Friday.Your Benefits
  • 36 contracted hours per week, working Monday-Thursday 8am-4.15pm and Friday 8am-4pm.
  • Overtime and on-call - the on call rota operates Friday-Friday.
