Job Description

D&A Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced HGV Class 2 driver in the Haverhill area.An exciting ongoing opportunity to work for a well-respected logistics distribution and supply chain company as a HGV class 2 driver.Essential Requirements:

  • Immediate start. Where possible
  • Literate, with good English language skills.
  • HGV class 2 driver.
  • Experienced in strapping loads.
  • Valid CPC & Tacho.
  • Ability to conduct dynamic risk assessments whilst driving.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills.
  • Good awareness of surroundings.
  • Confident in working unsupervised.
Your duties will include:
  • Starts 07:00 start.
  • Flatbed General Haulage.
  • Ensure the vehicle is driven in line with the operators licence.
  • Carry out daily maintenance checks.
  • Complete POD for deliveries.
In Return we offer:
  • Hourly rate of pay: £15.00ph.
  • Average hours 8-13 per day.
