The Just Recruitment Group is currently recruiting for a Facilities Technician on a temporary basis based in Haverhill. Role purpose and primary objective: This position is very important to the team and will require a level of fitness and strength to fulfil the duties. It will on occasion require working at height, electrical work, working on machinery and driving company vehicles.Core accountabilities:*Maintenance of the site grounds keeping them clean and tidy, weed and litter free*Painting floors and walls*Plumbing*Carry out weekly and monthly checks in the mould shop*Carry out monthly checks on fork lift trucks*Carry out weekly checks on company vehicles*Repair and fabrication on various jigs and tooling*Keeping shop floor tidy and clean*Assist with PPMs and breakdowns on various machinery such as turret punches, press brakes, machine shop equipment, power presses, injection mould machines, saws and paint plant equipment*Assist with projects*Assist with electrical work*Driving jobs when required*Any other duties required by Maintenance Manager/Supervisor*Record work carried out on the CMMS systemKnowledge, skills and experience required (Essentials and Desirables):*Good time keeping skills *Confident working on a computer including Microsoft programmes *Experience in building maintenance*Knowledge of single phase and 3 phase electrics*Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics*Comfortable working at heights*Comfortable using scissor lift*Self-starter with the ability to manage own workload*Strong problem solving skills*Ability to MIG weld*Flexible and willing to learn new skills and knowledgeContact Aggie at Just Recruitment Ipswich for more information!
