Job Description

Technical LeaderHatfield, Competitive salary, 37.5 hour’s working week, Permanent PositionWhat is this role of a Technical Leader The role of the Technical Leader is to perform domestic and international ATM update deployments via endpoint management solutions through a variety of tools, systems and methods.The Deployment Lead internally represents the Remote Content department in matters pertaining to team initiatives, standards, procedures, ATM Audit data, ATM inventory, operating system patching and ATM/auxiliary application patches/updates/installations.What will I be doing as a Technical Leader

  • Directly manages Remote Content team in Cardtronics’ regional location
  • Supervises update delivery to ATMs in an automated fashion with the use of ATM delivery tools such as CrossTec and RMS
  • Supervise and drive resolution to technical system integration issues with deployment systems and ATM packages
  • Monitors quality control through piloting process to ensure production ATMs are thoroughly tested
  • Supervises administration of Postilion commands/actions
  • Manages and administers CrossTec
  • Supports other IT teams with package creation and implementation when needed
  • Provides direct communication to internal teams including executive management on notifications of technical deployment information
  • Attends or directs technical meetings with ATM Solutions and Quality Control organisational members regarding current and future deployments, identification methods and overall process/methodology
  • Provide timely and efficient analysis of ATM update deployment failures providing interim and long term solutions
  • Adherence to strict SLA levels for deployment timelines, accuracy and ATM uptime
  • Proactively identify and recommend appropriate changes in order to make business improvements
  • Complete all training as required to ensure you are fully capable in order that individual performance levels are maximised
  • What Will I Need to Succeed as a Technical Leader
  • Bachelor’s degree is desired but not essential
  • High proficiency in Outlook, Word and Excel required with Excel knowledge to include advanced formula composition
  • Experience managing and leading teams
  • Demonstrates negotiation, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Proven independent decision, making in complex situations
  • Experience with Windows XP, 7, Server 2008 R2 and Server 2012 R2
  • Experience performing endpoint update deployments in an automated software delivery service field with Radia or a similar enterprise automation product
  • Experience with system automation and endpoint scripting (Batch, PowerShell, Python, and VB)
  • Advanced troubleshooting of failed package deployments at the ATM level via logs, services, processes and events
  • Ability to write complex technical documentation in standalone (Word/PDF) and digital (MediaWiki) format for internal department use as well as organizational notifications
  • Demonstrates ability to write SQL queries for target and audit analysis
  • Working knowledge of ServiceNow
  • Experience with Postilion 5.5
