Job Description

Company DescriptionGreat Bear is a leading 3rd party UK logistics business providing nationwide dedicated and shared user warehousing and distribution solutions for international blue chip clients.We operate in excess of 9 million sq. ft. of warehousing and operate a large modern commercial vehicle fleet, coupled with an extensive added value service offering.We are currently recruiting a Stock and Administration Clerk for our site in Harworth.Job DescriptionShift: Any 5 in 7 - DaysStock and Administration Clerk responsibilities:

  • Carry out physical stock counts in a structured and accurate manner capturing all checks made and any discrepancies found. Adjustments to stock levels to be made on the WMS as and when necessary
  • Ensuring that all administrative duties are carried out with efficiency and professionalism, to the required Stobart standards and within timescales.
  • Keep accurate records of any adjustments made on the system that can be presented to customer or the management team.
  • Keep accurate records of any Customer Returns and prepare reports that can be presented to customer or the management team.
  • Carry out agreed customer process for the raising of customers orders and prepare the necessary pick list for each specific order. Any non-conformance of orders raised need to be addressed to the management team and / or the customer
  • Liaise with drivers visiting the site that are delivering and / or collecting stock and ensure that all vehicle / driver details are captured and that the correct load is allocated to the correct bay or vehicle, whether inbound or outbound
  • Attend work on a regular and timely basis.
  • Achieve and maintain the required level of work rate.
  • Follow instructions from your direct Line Manager
  • Report any signs that you are unwell or not able to carry out your duties.
  • Maintain good communication with customers and Managers.
  • Maintain Health and Safety via compliance with risk assessment guidelines ensuring that any issues are brought to the attention of the Operations Manager
  • Report any defects found on site in relation to the product, equipment or facilities to your direct Line Manager.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy appearance and adhere to the Hygiene Policy at all times.
  • Be polite and courteous to your colleagues, customers, visitors and visiting drivers, and all other site staff.
Qualifications
  • Good Standard of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Good working knowledge of Stock system and MS packages
  • IT Literate including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Working knowledge of Key ESLL Systems including WMS, SAP
