Edward Mann are currently working with a leading Engineering company based near to Worksop / Doncaster. Our client is looking for a new Accountant to join their team. This hire will be made on a Fixed-Term Contract to Permanent basis.Key Responsibilities - Ensure accounts are produced to UK GAAP standards- Monitor AP & AR transactions- Ensure invoices are correctly coded and approved before payment- Oversee petty cash transactions- Oversee & reconcile intercompany transactions- Monitor employee work hours and prepare payroll inc. deductions- Ensure expenses are processed correctly- Produce regular cash flow reports and analysis- Ensure dividends, taxes and any other required payments are completed on time- Monitor Accounts receivable and ensure funds received successfullyDesirables- Understanding of debits & credits- Excel experienceEdward Mann Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
