Would you like the opportunityto work for a global sub sea umbilical manufacturerand supplier of umbilical sub seacabling companyWe are working with a Teeside based global business who are recruiting for an experienced Stores Person.Hours of workMonday - Thursday - 8am - 5pmFriday - 8am - 4pmPay Rate - Initial pay rate £9.83 per hour. Increasing to £10.52 following a successful 12 week period withinthe role.41.5 hour working week with a 30 minute unpaidbreak and two 15 minute paid breaks.Main dutiesEnsuring the smooth running of the goods in/stores department. Kitting and dispatch of products to ensure smooth in time delivery.Entering transactions carried out on Visual manufacturingsystem ensuring 100% accuracy at all times and in a timely mannerAssist with the training of others eg New staff/ inductionsEnsure all paper work and materials relative to each job are correctly completed and traceable at all timesCommunicating clearly with Team Leaders through regular meetings and open communication channelsEffective team workingFull compliancewith organisations health and safety policy for all team members and selfEnsuring working environment is clean and tidy and complies with companies H&S requirements/ policyCompetenciesCustomer focus, accountability, delivery on promises, credibilityand professionalismat all timesMake good decisions, planning and priority settingExcellent attention to detail and a positive can do attitude.Technical competenceand functional specific competence.Knowledge Skills and experienceEssential.Forklift Truck Licence - Counter Balance/ Flexi truckExperience working in a role where manual handling os regularly requiredStrong communicationskills both verbal and writtenExcellent organisational and time keeping skillsAbility to work within a team and using own initiativeWillingness to learn and follow set company proceduresExperience of working in a fats paced warehouse environmentComputer literate including the use of MS office packagesDesirableExperience of working within stores manufacturing background.The role has the real opportunity for a permanent position within this globally renowned organisationalong with career progression.
