Job Description

Our client is the UK’s established market leader in its field of metal products manufacture, predominantly to the construction, architectural and industrial sectors. Looking to build on their already noteworthy reputation, they are seeking to appoint anexperienced Sales Engineer with significant experience of Fabrication who can grow their appeal beyond solely product sales and into full project builds.As Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Promote the company’s wide range of products and services to new and existing customers across the UK
  • Actively promote value-added, in-house services such as fabrication, bending, shaping and framing
  • Target users of high volumes of products in the Industrial market
  • Routinely seek repeat orders
  • Work to an annual target of £600k t/o
  • Report to the Commercial Manager
As Sales Engineer, you will need:
  • A formal technical/engineering background
  • Proven experience in the Fabrication sector - Sales Engineer or Technical Sales Engineer experience advantageous
  • The ability to recommend new equipment to satisfy customer expectations and demands
  • Thorough market knowledge
  • The ability to bring clients on board readily
Salary & benefits:
  • £40-50k basic
  • To secure maximum pay/rewards, you must possess all outlined experience, skills, knowledge and qualifications.
  • Bonus (£6-12k)
  • Car or car allowance (£500 per month)
  • Pension
