Job Description

We currently have an opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager working from our Hartlepool office covering the North East area.As a Regional Sales Manager, you will play a pivot role in driving the commercial sales performance at a regional level through effective management of both field based and office based teams. It will be your responsibility to develop and implement an effectivesales strategy for the region aligning to the core strategy for Certas Energy. You will maintain and develop a well-trained, motivated team delivering exceptional customer service, maximising profitability and developing sustainable growth across the business.Responsibilities include:

  • Manage and motivate the team to achieve results
  • Effective people management - Increase in engagement score for the region; reduction in absence and attrition figures, increase in flexibility of employees to meet customer demands
  • Support the team through training and development
  • Increase New Business and reduce churn for the sub region
  • Implementing Sales Strategy and translate it in to local plans
  • Work with other departments to ensure resourced up to budgeted headcount before known busy periods - effective planning
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies
  • Actively promote reduction in LOB/Return to Stock by effective selling techniques
