Job Description

Chubb Systems now has an opportunity for a Regional Engineer covering Hartlepool and Heysham. The main goal of this role is to provide first and second line support activities to all the regional stakeholders, when called upon to do so and to provide survey, design, installation and commissioning support for all D&Cand project works within the region.People are at the heart of everything we do, and your wellbeing is hugely important to us.   • Base salary upto £42K per year plus oncall and overtime

Job DescriptionResponsibilities:
  • To repair, maintain and service systems in accordance with the relevant company procedures, engineer instructions and specific system specifications;
  • To undertake project and D&C works in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Creation of project specific documentation and plans is to meet client requirements.
  • Commissioning of systems in accordance with the relevant standards and Codes of Practice;
  • QRF production to enable cost effective solutions.
  • Undertake training and mentoring of new and existing staff as required.
  • Provision of technical support at a regional level. Responding to requests from engineers to ensure satisfactory resolution, or escalation within a defined timescale.
  • Carryout audits and inspections within the region as and assisting the regional supervisors or manager as requested.
QualificationsQualifications/ Experience/ Knowledge:
  • Good basic education.
  • Relevant qualification in the electrical/ electronic industry or willingness to undertake formal education.
  • Field Service Experience.
  • Previous support role experience beneficial.
  • High standard of IT skills. (Fully, Computer and operating system literate).
  • Good level of Customer Service experience.
