Our client is a market leading chemical processing company based in Hartlepool who specialise in the formulation and processing for the crop protection and speciality chemical markets. They require a Quality Technician to provide quality control supportto the manufacturing departments.WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING IN YOUR ROLEMaintain a high standard of safety and housekeeping in the laboratoryPerforming analysis on products, according to defined analytical methods and standard operating proceduresWorking on the shop floor, carrying out quality checksReviewing packaging and packed product meet customer requirementsEnsuring loads correctly labelled and ready for dispatchCoordinating with Warehouse and ManufacturingPreparation of samples for HPLC and GC analysisPreparation of samples to customers for dispatch as appropriateRecord and report analytical results to QC staffMaintain levels of laboratory reagents and consumablesArrange for correct disposal of laboratory wasteREQUIREMENTSIdeally have experience in a Quality Control Laboratory or Technical backgroundExperience in HPLC and GC Systems is an advantageComputer literate (MS OfficeOutlook, Word, Excel) and a good communicatorA qualification in chemistry/science based would be advantageousWHAT ARE THE FINER DETAILS IN YOUR ROLEHours: MondayFriday, rotating weekly, 7am-3pm one week and 11am-7pm the next.This is a Permanent RoleSalary: £21-22KINTERESTEDPlease apply for this position and your CV will go direct to Rebecca Corrigan who is leading the search.
