Thats where you come in.If youve proven you can turn commercial strategy into action and manage change (ideally with a similar professional, service-led business), youll be a welcome addition to the firm, freeing up the directors to grow the business and empowering colleagues in IT, Administration , Marketing and Finance functions (and the wider client facing team) to work to the very best of their abilities.What you can addYoull work closely with the MD, leading on all business operations and support functions - thats everything from sales and client service to people management, and finance. Yes, its a broad range of responsibility but the companys vision couldnt be sharper - the Directors are at the early stages of embracing Gino Wickmans Traction methodology. They want someone who shares that philosophy to come in and help to get a grip on operations - to put the right day-to-day structures in place to reach their goals.That could be by taking ownership of projects to improve the IT infrastructure or developing the market intelligence behind business development. It might mean sharpening the marketing offer or improving the training and support the company offers its people. To succeed, youll need strong analytical thinking skills coupled with a communication style that wins peoples support and brings them with you.Managing a Financial Controller (whose responsibilities include cashflow, accounting, reporting and credit control) will be a vital part of your job, so it would be ideal if youve proven your skills in a financial environment. If youve worked as an accountant, great. If not, youll need very strong leadership experience in a client-driven, professional services sector e.g. law, financial services, architecture.
