Job Description

Are you an experienced Manual Turner looking for a new opportunity Interaction Recruitment are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our client’s team in Hartlepool. As a Manual Turner, you will play a crucial role in our client’soperations, contributing to the production of high-quality components.Responsibilities:

  • Operate manual turning machines to produce precision components according to specifications
  • Perform manual screw cutting to create threads on various materials
  • Utilize four jaw chucks effectively for secure and accurate component machining
  • Safely operate an overhead crane for lifting and moving heavy materials
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
  • Maintain machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Complete necessary documentation and quality checks to ensure compliance with standards
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Manual Turner, demonstrating expertise in manual turning operations
  • Proficiency in manual screw cutting and the use of four jaw chucks
  • Experience operating an overhead crane for material handling
  • Forklift truck (FLT) license is desirable but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
  • Understanding of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
Our client offers a competitive salary of £15 per hour, with overtime paid at enhanced rates.
