With the development of a new nuclear power station on the horizon, our goal is to become the best and most trusted energy supplier for our customers, through a combination of trust, transparency and teamwork.The Role of a Commercial ManagerEDF Energy are looking for a part-qualified/Management Accountant to joint the finance team based out of Hartlepool Power Station.Key Responsibilities include:·Preparation of monthly management accounts (Accruals/Journals)·Responsible for staff costs/overtime monthly reconciliations (500 Employee’s)·Preparation of monthly accountability packs (Staff Costs/Overtime)·Payroll information for submission (Pre-approvals)·Budgeting and Forecasting·To work alongside Finance Manager to prepare 5 year MTP Plan·Reports required for variance analysis·Other ad hoc duties as requiredExpected Knowledge & Skills:·AAT Level 4 will be considered. Strong excel skills·Hands on approach·High attention to detail and accuracy·Self-motivated and has the ability to work under own initiative·Previous experience within a management accountant position within the Electricity Generation sector (desirable)·Knowledge of SAP system (desirable)·Knowledge of Anaplan (desirable)
