Job Description

The CompanyOur client is a highly successful manufacturing company, due to growth they require a HR Business Partner.The Role

  • Reporting into the UK HR Manager and working alongside another HR Business Partner, you will provide a first-class HR service to employees within production and will also support two HR Admin colleagues.
  • This is a generalist role covering the full employee lifecycle, from employee relations to employee engagement to projects.
  • Single point of contact for key stakeholders (employees, managers and agencies), to align to business needs, advising and provoking positive change.
  • Proactively deliver and support HR processes, procedures and group wide initiatives such as recruitment, organisational change, performance management, reward and recognition and actively identify gaps and propose changes to mitigate risk and drive continuousimprovement.
  • Work in collaboration with UK HR manager, HR and Training Team to identify operational and strategic needs.
  • Analyse information and HR KPI metrics to identify appropriate HR solutions which add value and improve operational effectiveness.
  • Identify and support the training and development needs in conjunction with the competency framework.
  • Proactively partnering with the business to support the UK HR Manager to achieve the HR People Strategy and Engagement Plan.
  • Support HR Admin Support colleagues, setting out clear expectations and priorities to ensure effective delivery of HR services, providing any learning on HR tasks and processes.
  • This is a permanent, full time opportunity working Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-13:30 (potential for flexibility in start and finish times around responsibilities and commitments).
  • This is an onsite role; however, home working may be accommodated on an ad hoc basis.
The Person
  • A solid generalist with experience gained within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple mixed priorities at any given time.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Resilient and empathetic in approach.
  • Trade Union experience is desirable but not essential.
