Job Description

An opportunity for an ambitious Financial Analyst currently studying towards a professional qualification has arisen to join a fast paced, multi-sited organisation based in Hartlepool.The Financial Analyst has an important role in producing and managing key financial information to support the operations team of a busy site within this fast paced organisation, This is a hybrid role with three days per week in the office.Responsibilities:

  • Producing and owning the weekly profit forecast for the site
  • Month end close responsibility for Teesside and Derby
  • Producing operational reports on production volumes, yields and uptime
  • Analysing the weekly labour spend
  • Compiling the weekly stock count information in conjunction with operations team
  • Managing all elements of financial admin, including the PO system and query resolution
  • Raising ad-hoc sales invoices
  • Producing contract reports for a large local authority customer and attending the monthly contract meeting
  • Support the finance and operations teams in producing the annual budgets and forecasts
Requirements
  • Part qualified accountant CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • Experience of working with and supporting operational, commercial staff across multiple locations
  • Strong system skills including advanced Excel and Power BI
