Salary: £11.23 per hourHours of work: 28 hours per weekLocation: Hartfields, HartlepoolTerm: PermanentAbout the roleThe new Hartfields coffee shop launches in November 2023 and is open to the residents and public 7 days a week for breakfast, lunches, afternoon cake and coffee and for booking parties and events. It is set in the extra care community which consists of self-containedproperties with residents who can choose whether to eat in the coffee shop, in their own homes or elsewhere. The vibrant coffee shop in Hartfields offers a multi choice, varied menu, which is nutritionally well balanced. Ingredients are locally sourced wherepossible, contributing to the sustainability of the wider community.We are now seeking to recruit into the new role of Barista who will support the Coffee Shop Manager and rest of the team in preparing branded coffee, premium beverages and presenting food for residents and visitors within the Hartfield’s complex. They willmaintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, and company food standards, ensuring quality and customer satisfaction at all times.About youWe are looking for a trained Barista who has customer service experience in a branded coffee environment and holds a relevant qualification or evidence of training with a high street brand. You will bring knowledge and skills to the team to ensure a positivecustomer experience is upheld, along with setting and maintaining standards. You will be able to develop and train the team where required.You will hold a Level 2 certificate in Food Safety and have working knowledge of Food Safety regulations.Application informationTo apply for the role, please submit your CV as part of your Internal application form.
