Job Description

Your new role:A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join an exciting manufacturing business in Hartlepool. This role will see the successful candidate take the lead on managing the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes and will involve people management of ateam of 4 people.Duties and responsibilities

  • Taking responsibility for maintenance and accuracy of UK accounts receivable ledger including management of customer accounts, company invoicing and customer payments.
  • Taking responsibility for maintenance and accuracy of UK accounts payable ledger, including management of supplier accounts, supplier invoicing and supplier payments.
  • Taking responsibility for achievement of associated processing and reporting (both local and Group) for AR and AP.
  • Completing of monthly accounts receivable reporting.
  • Completing of monthly accounts payable reporting.
  • Completing a monthly cashflow forecast over a 12 month period for AR and AP.
  • Ensuring adherence to company JSOX procedures.
  • Ensure legally required document retention.
You will be/have
  • CICM Chartered Institute of Credit Management
  • Experienced across both accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Experience of Staff management
  • Strong systems knowledge including, Advanced Excel and Word.
  • Able to effectively deal with change.
