Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a proven tax manager has arisen within the worlds leading electronics business, this role will be working on a variety of projects from the offset and be an intrinsic member of the NW London based central finance team.This opportunity for a tax manager will require the successful candidate be coming from a logistics/manufacturing background so they have the key skills to develop in this role, we are looking for someone who has expereince with import & export - movinggoods around of EU and experience working on corporate tax returns.Responsibility

  • Preparation and submission of VAT returns in EMEA countries (UK, Belgium, Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands)
  • Coordination and supervision of the preparation and submission of the Corporate tax filings
  • Ensuring compliance with tax matters for the companies entities in EMEA, including Tax implications of all transactions (Rental and sales)
  • Liaising with the company tax consultants across EMEA
  • Working closely with the Corporate tax team
  • Assist with the quarterly and annual consolidated GAAP tax provisions
  • Stay current with relevant tax laws/regulations by reading tax periodicals and conducting tax research
  • Occasionally perform other duties as requested
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor Degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant Business Degree
  • ACA, ACCA or CPA preferred
  • Minimum 2 years experience in large Public Accounting firm
  • 5 years indirect tax experience across EMEA
  • 5 years Corporate tax filing experience across EMEA
  • Experience engaging with governmental tax authorities
  • Must have excellent analytical and communication skills
  • Must be proficient with spreadsheets, MS Office Suite
