Job Description

The Management Accountant position calls for a highly driven individual with a passion for the FMCG industry and an affinity for numbers. Based in Harrow, the successful candidate will play a key role in the Accounting & Finance department, providing financialguidance to aid in the companys decision-making process.Client DetailsThis is a leading player in the FMCG industry with a workforce of over 500 employees. Based in Harrow, they are dedicated to producing high-quality consumer goods and are recognised for their commitment to sustainable business practices.Description

  • Prepare financial statements and budget reports
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Undertake variance analysis to understand the difference between planned and actual performance
  • Provide financial advice to management to aid in decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with external auditors to ensure proper compliance with all regulations
  • Identify areas for cost reduction and operational improvements
  • Periodically review the companys financial performance and predict future trends
ProfileA successful Management Accountant should have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Proven experience as a Management Accountant in the FMCG industry
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
  • Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in financial forecasting
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other departments
