Job Description

Title: Primary Supply TeacherLocation:Startdate: Various - Day-to-Day/Short-term/long-termPay: £130 - 190/DayEmpowering Learning are pleased to be hiring for an OFSTED rated OUTSTANDING primary school in a lovely area in Harrogate requiring a Y5/6 Teacher on a full-time basis from February half-term ongoing.The roleEmpowering Learning are currently recruiting for a lovely primary school in the HG3 area of Harrogate requiring a Y5/6 Teacher who has experience with Y6 SATS preparation. The successful candidate will have experience with SATS whether that be during yourECT training and placements or an experienced teacher who has supported this under contract. This is a lovely small school with a quaint feel and lots of support looking for someone who can join the school hitting the ground running.Duties:

  • Lead lessons and fulfill role as Class Teacher
  • Handover to parents at the end of the day information on the childrens progress
  • Mark work and plan within given PPA time.
  • Maintain progress of students records
Requirements:
  • Experience with Y6 SATS preparation.
  • Hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or QTLS (Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills Status) and be a registered member of SET.
  • Have a passion for the progress of primary school pupils.
  • Have a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
  • Have relevant Safeguarding training, or be willing to complete
