Job Description

Vendor Account ManagerSalary: £22,000-26,000 per year + OTE of £39kHours: Monday to Friday 8:30-5:30pmLocation: HarrogateOur client is an award-winning, value-added distributor of data storage, networking and IT infrastructure products and services. Providing support to resellers, retailers and consultants from multi-nationals to smaller, local companies all over the globe.With over 350 employees in 8 locations across the world, and a passion for taking carefully chosen emerging markets and new technology to the forefront of society, our client is committed to growing business for partners by delivering operational excellence through sophisticated logistics, extensive product and market expertise, marketing support and great customer service.The Role

  • Increasing sales to the Amazon department for our clients major brands like Toshiba, Jabra and Sphero
  • Forming relationships with senior contacts at allocated vendors
  • Forming relationships with key Amazon contacts
  • Order processing through SAP
  • Managing order lead-times SAP and VC
  • Working with logistics to ensure orders are dispatched in accordance with shipment windows
  • Working with Project Managers to ensure all rebate and support is loaded
  • Support customer services with any and all queries relating to Amazon
  • Understand all Amazon processes and promotional tools
  • Work with our content management team to ensure all products are represented to a high level
  • Key Skills & Abilities
  • Ideal candidate for this role must have excellent analytic skills
  • Strong commercial and financial awareness
  • Ability to multi-task, whilst having high attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in written format,
  • A professional telephone manner is essential
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Advance Excel skills are essential
  • EDI knowledge and skills recommended
  • Knowledge or interest in IT / consumer electronics
  • As part of this role you must be available to travel to Vendors, Amazon sites and internal company offices.This is a high responsibility role for a very driven and motivated individual so please only apply if you believe you hold the relevant experience and qualities to be successful in the role.
