Title: Unqualified Teaching AssistantLocation: Harrogate,North YorkshireStartdate: ASAP - OngoingPay: £85 - 95/DayEmpowering Learning are pleased to be hiring for an Unqualified Teaching Assistant to be based at an outstanding primary school in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.We are currently working in partnership with an outstanding primary school based in Harrogate, who are looking to appoint an Unqualified Teaching Assistant in the York area on a full-time ongoing basis. This role will be supporting in the classroom directlyreporting to the class teacher and assist the teacher with their daily tasks. The successful candidate will be passionate about supporting children with their learning in the classroom. The school leadership team are incredibly supportive and available tohelp and support all members of staff to help them achieve their full potential.Duties:· Assist the lead teacher in implementing educational programs and activities for students.· Provide support to students with special needs, including autism & ADHD.· Assist in creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.· Support students in their academic and social development.· Collaborate with the lead teacher to develop and implement Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs) for students where needed.· Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher.· Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies.Requirements:· Passionate about supporting children with their learning.· Transferable skills or direct experience from working in Education/Childcare.· Have a good knowledge of Special Educational Needs/Learning Disabilities.· Have a DBS or be willing to obtain one· Have relevant Safeguarding training, or be willing to completeHow to apply:If you would like to be an Unqualified Teaching Assistant with transferable skills, then we would like to hear from you.
