High Pressure Drainage EngineerTEAM OF 2NORTH Yorkshire – Newcastle£24,000 basic - £35,000 OTEMonday to Friday 4am start 12-hour shiftOvertime additional allowance1 in 4 On Call Weekend paid at time and a halfOne of the Norths most successful Environmental Management Companies is looking for an experiencedHigh-Pressured Jet Engineerto work with the Engineering Supervisor with pre-planned Maintenance with key UK client accounts across Yorkshire and up to Newcastle for an immediate start.As the Jetting Engineer, you will assist with the operation of the Drainage Tanker & Jetting Equipment, responding to emergency blockages and maintenance of various customer sites providing a first-class service .You’ll need to be familiar with high pressure jetting equipment with experience within the drainage industry, this is essential. The Tanker is currently based at Thirsk so this will need to be accessible on a morning for you to start at 4am.A high-pressure water jetting certificate would be good, but this is not essential.You’ll need a full UK driving licence, ideally hold an up to date CSCS card.You will need to possess excellent customer service skills as you will be the face of the Company whilst dealing with clients and other members of the public.Due to the nature of the work, 24/7 callout, a flexible approach to work will be required.You’ll be operating tanker jetting equipment for a wide range of drain-related issues.You will be field based and deal with any situation from pre-planned maintenance and emergency callouts and blockages during regular maintenance.Tanker and jetting work: suction of pump stations, petrol interceptors, jetting of manhole andchannel drainage, safe and compliant disposal of waste.Willingness to work across the UK.Salary is open to negociation dependant on your experience with a generous overtime allowance and the client is looking to start engineers ASAP.
