Futures Manufacturing have the following job Opportunity for a Trainee Embedded Systems Engineer.This role provides a great opportunity to develop existing skills and gain experience in both hardware and software development of embedded systems within the automotive sector.Programming and/or electronics skills or qualifications will give the candidate a running start but also these can be taught.Are you a motivated and driven individual.A strong background in maths or physicsThere will be opportunities to take charge and responsibility for small projects after the initial training period.This will be both hardware design work of PCBs and prototyping followed by software development, testing and verification including field work on site where required. There will be a strong focus on reliability and safety in the project work and the successful candidate will gain and utilise a broad yet deep skillset in an varied range of applications within the sector.Qualifications / Experience-A Level Maths (B or higher) and A Level IT/Computer Science (B or higher) or any equivalent vocational qualification-GCSE, A Level, vocational qualification or experience with electronics desirable-Good written English Skills-Ability to pick up new concepts and skills quickly and engage in self-directed learning are essential-Experience with C/C++/Java desirable but not required-Familiarity with Linux, Raspberry Pi or Arduino advantageousThis role is a full time permanent position to start asap with a competitive salary DOEIf you fit this role then APPLY NOW
