Impression Recruitment are working with a boutique business, that are based in the heart of Harrogate and who work from sleek and stylish premises whichare easily accessible via public transport. They are seeking a Store Manager to join their team on a permanent, full time basis. You will be working with a high-end product, one that can be in high demand but also requires a very personal touch when selling.You will take responsibility for the sales process for the branch, manage your team on a day to day basis, deal directly with clients in relation to purchases, and liaise with management on business affairs. Our client is growing at a quick rate, and thiswill lead to further growth and development for you, with salary increases available the more you achieve within the company! Ideally you will be a strong communicator, with excellent people and organisational skills, alongside previous retail experience.Whether you are working for a large high street retail chain or an independent, boutique seller...our client wants to hear from you!As Store Manager you will be responsible for: * Motivate your team to provide a thorough, thoughtful and personable sales process to the clients they are working with.* Master your product knowledge through internal training and support to become an expert in your field, giving clients confidence in the service you are providing.* Manage your teams KPIs and targets, as well as monitoring branch targets as a whole, ensuring that all are being achieved and exceeded consistently.* Build a client base that understands the benefits of yours and your teams knowledge and services, ensuring repeat business through long term relationship building.* Represent the company at internal events, sales shows and client appointments.* Managing the merchandising process in the branch, ensuring stock layout is optimal at all times.* Manage internal staff rota, holiday requests, absences etc.Skills required to be Store Manager:* An approachable, professional and consultative nature is key.* Proven experience of leading a team in a retail environment.* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.* Organisational and operational coordination abilities.In return you will receive a salary of between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum with the opportunity to earn up to £600 per month in bonus should you achieve your personal/branch goals, leaving an OTE of £34,000! You will have access to staff benefits such as 40%discount of ALL PRODUCTS, 25 days holiday, pension scheme and regular staff events/incentives. Working hours are 8:45am - 5:15pm, and there will be some weekend work involved in the role, to which you will get the corresponding amount of days off in lieu thefollowing week.
