Job Description

Stock ControllerHarrogateUp to £25k D.O.E plus pension We are currently working with our client in Harrogate who are looking to recruit an experienced Stock Controller.Our client is a dynamic, multi award winning manufacturer of cosmetic and healthcare products within the FMCG and Healthcare industries who are now seeking an energetic and enthusiastic Stock Controller to join its team.The company wants to engage with highly motivated individuals looking to take on a challenge.As the Stock Controller your duties will include:

  • Managing Imports and Exports and general distribution
  • Managing day to day relationships with suppliers and customers
  • Responding to enquires
  • Maintaining adequate stock levels
  • Reviewing sales reports and sense checking forecasts.
  • Analysing data.
    • To be a successful Stock Controller you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Maturity with experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
  • Previously used stock control inventory management systems.
  • Comfortable with analysing large volumes of data.
  • Intermediate Excel skills are required.
  • Familiarity with import and export procedures
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing
    • The company will consider candidates that do not have any experience in using an online inventory management system, providing you have used other similar processes to manage stock control.The Stock Controller will be Full time hours, Monday to Friday.In return, the successful applicant will receive a salary of up to £25,000 per annum, 28 days holiday and a company pension.
