As an experienced Operations Director / Site Director you will uphold safety as your primary value and demonstrate practical application with pro-active and consistent messaging to build a sustaining safety culture to protect all employees. You will be wellversed in situational and servant leadership and be a clear communicator with the ability to champion your site and team in a global matrix organisation. You see the value in a continuous improvement, performance-driven and accountable team. You will haveexperience of optimising resources through Manufacturing Excellence to deliver efficiencies in COGs. Any experience in a CDMO environment, particularly Healthcare, would be a distinct advantage. BASIC SALARY: £90,000 - £110,000 BENEFITS:Bonus: 15% Car allowance £7,700 p.a. You will drive towards enhancing a performance culture across Operations to deliver EBITDA and cash flow improvements. JOB DESCRIPTION: Operations Director / General Manager / Site Leader / Site Director Reporting to the VP of Global Operations, youll be instrumental in driving site standards, with a £40M turnover and 300 colleagues on site, your key role is to be the sites leader and its champion in a global business. There are four principal business unitsacross the site servicing Advanced Wound Therapy, Medical Device, Consumer Wellness and Medical Device Fixation and Contract Irradiation sectors. A full job description is available; the key tasks are: · Build upon the strong foundations in place and create appropriate growth strategies in line with business needs. · Be at the forefront and face of the site, presenting clear communication of the vision and strategy. · Be Safety, Quality and CI driven ensuring the maximum efficiency of the site through a variety of Operations metrics. · Own Operational direct responsibilities for Manufacturing, Maintenance, Sterilisation, Logistics, Safety and Continuous Improvement. · Work across the matrix structure to provide Operations support and strategic direction to business partners in Quality, Regulatory, PMO, Commercial, Product Development, Supply Chain, Finance and HR. Most likely you will have: · A strong track record of achievement in building successful teams (succession planning and people development) · A background from a manufacturing environment - ideally in healthcare or a parallel highly regulated industry, although we are open to consider other discipline experiences. · Worked within a complex matrix organisation with the advantages and challenges that brings. · Be degree qualified with an MBA being highly desirable. Process Excellence Six Sigma / Lean qualifications would be a differentiating skill. You have invested in challenging yourself.
