Job Description

Design Technology Teacher

  • Salary: £150~200 per day
  • Location: Harrogate
  • Job Type: Temporary/Part time - 0.6
We are excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Teacher of Design Technology to join an outstanding school in Harrogate. The role is set to commence immediately for at least 1 term. This position is ideal for a Teacher of Design Technologywith experience with graphics and photography,who is eager to work within a collaborative and innovative team, dedicated to delivering an outstanding education of excellence. Day to Day of the Role:
  • Inspire, motivate, and challenge students within the Design Technology Department.
  • Deliver a dynamic, challenging, and rewarding graphicsand photography curriculum.
  • Contribute to the department’s extracurricular activities and bespoke curriculum to enhance students’ learning experiences.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A passion for Design Technology & Engineering
  • Ability to set high expectations that inspire, motivate, and challenge students.
  • Strong subject and curriculum knowledge.
  • Experience in planning and delivering well-structured lessons.
  • Capability to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all students.
  • Proficiency in making accurate and productive use of assessment.
  • Effective behaviour management skills to ensure a good and safe learning environment.
