Job Description

Job Title: ReceptionistSalary: £18,720 to £19,890 per annum Plus BenefitsLocation: C/o Covance Harrogate - Otley Road, HG3 1PYStart Date: ImmediateDuration: Full Time Permanent - Monday - Friday 40 - 42.5hrs per week.Receptionist Job Introduction:We currently have an opportunity for a Receptionist to join our team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.Receptionist Responsibilities Include:

  • To provide a Reception / Concierge service for all visitors.
  • Deal with all telephone queries received day-to-day. Provide a telephone service for incoming calls to site wide users when required
  • First point of contact for greeting all visitors who arrive in Reception and Concierge area. Advise the appropriate host of their arrival. Inform visitor that host has been notified and invite visitor to take a seat.
  • Co-ordination of Client Visitor SharePoint and logistic arrangements (hotel bookings, transport etc., visitor badge preparation, hospitality catering)
  • Manage email for Reception.
  • Maintain file for all information concerning switchboard and concierge positions.
  • Maintain Conference Room Diaries
  • Conference room co-ordination (daily checks)
  • Collation of Monthly hospitality Figures
  • Collation of customer feedback within Excel.
  • Maintain and update company forms
  • ADHOC printing requests
  • Laminating, binding and collating documents for booklet requests
  • Making sure conference and meeting rooms are well presented for internal clients, external clients and lunch requests are correct and delivered on time.
  • The ideal Receptionist:
  • Good Secondary education, including GCSE English (or equivalent experience)
  • Good communication skills (with team members and customers) including good telephone manner.
  • Basis PC skills - Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook/other email system.
  • Previous Reception experience would be beneficial.
