Were currently recruiting a dedicated Range Training Assistant to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Compass Group UK&I on a full time basis, contracted to 40 hours per week.As a Range Training Assistant, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work. Could you bring your spark to Compass Group UK&I Heres what you need to know before applying:Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Monitor, operate and maintain the Dismounted Close Combat trainer (DCCT).
  • Engage with MOD DCCT suppliers in fault reporting and replacement of parts as required.
  • To prepare, monitor and maintain the Indoor and Outdoor Ranges, including the creation of targets.
  • Support in the operation of the Military Training Wing Store (MTWS), including the issue and receipt of training aids and keys.
  • Assist in the movement of Government Furnished Equipment such as furniture and equipment.
  • Awareness and support of the procurement of Military Forms, Publications, C Class Stores and Maps.
  • Setting up and maintenance of Military Training Facilities (Classrooms and Theatres) on site together with related service involving care of training equipment and accommodation.
  • Support the teaching and administrative functions of the AFC, such as monitoring the serviceability and repair of Military Classroom based IT equipment. Including engaging with ACII engineers.
Our ideal Range Training Assistant will:
  • ESSENTIAL:
    • Knowledge and experience of IT systems
    • DCCT Custodian Qualification – Post employment training will be given for this qualification.
  • DESSIERABLE:
    • Previous experience working on Ranges
    • Previous military experience
