Job Description

About the RoleMaria Mallaband Care Group are looking for a Quality & Compliance Inspector. As a quality operator it is essential that the Quality & Compliance Inspector recognises and accepts that this means always acting in a sensitive and professional manner for the best interest of the organisation and its Service Users.Overall PurposeThe Quality & Compliance Inspector is responsible for promoting the continuous improvement of quality and service delivery to meet and exceed outcomes for individual care usersThey provide expert support, identify opportunities, potential quality related risks and advise on appropriate actions.*This role requires travel and some over night stays. Car or Car allowance available.Person Specification:Professional

  • The post holder should hold a nursing qualification or NVQ5 in Leadership and Management for care related services, in addition to a commitment to ongoing development
    • Experience
  • The post holder will have a proven track record of managing in a clinical or healthcare setting within the last 3 years.
    • General
  • A full, valid driving licence is essential.
  • Effective leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organisational, report writing, communication and presentation skills
  • The ability to recognise own limitations.

    • Belmont House Belmont House, in Harrogate, specialises in a provision of residential and nursing care, as well as caring for people living with dementia. Respite care is also provided and is dependent on availability. The home is divided into five separate suites, spread over three floors. The Courtyard suite provides residential care for up to 30 people. The Garden and Spring water suites both provide nursing care for 14 people each. The Park suite provides residential care for up to 17 people living with dementia, while the Promenade suite provides nursing care for up to 26 people with dementia.
