Job Description

Bridge Recruitment Ltd, acting as a Recruitment Agency, have a fantastic opportunity for a Practice Manager to join their client based in Harrogate! Within the role youll be responsible for the efficient running and safe management of the firm and staff.What is in it for you

  • Salary of 35,000 - 42,000 per annum
  • Working hours of 08:30 - 17:00, Monday to Friday with a 1.25 hour lunch break

Your new role as a Practice Manager
  • Ensure Health and Safety statutory obligations and legislation are adhered to, and that company policies are communicated to the staff
  • Responsible for effective and consistent staff appraisal and development plans (including training, development, and disciplinary action), working with HR advisors for non-routine personnel queries where required
  • Recruitment and induction of employees, overseeing and managing Reception and Office staff including organising staff meetings and updating staff records
  • Planning cost effective and efficient Practice Rotas (including holiday and sickness cover), liaising with Recruitment Consultants where required
  • Ensuring Payroll Processes (including Inland Revenue, Staff Pension Schemes etc) and Directors tax returns are completed by Accountants
  • Ensuring compliance with all statutory and legal regulations, preparing annual and monthly reports for the Directors and preparing for external audit or inspection visits
  • Acting as the Building Manager, ensuring all essential works are carried out as required and maintaining all relevant documents (including insurance and maintenance)
About you
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Confident leading and managing staff in a Legal environment
  • Highly organised and able to manage your own workload while delegating as required
  • Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and implantation of measures within the business
  • Confident and comfortable reporting to Directors
