Mechanical Fitter / Plumber£25655 raising to £26425 in AprilPublic sector role with great benefitsOn call and overtime payImmediate opportunity for an Mechanical Fitter / Plumber , the role would suit someone who has just completed their level 3 and is looking for a days / site based maintenance role working pleasant, non-stressful environment for a company who offer greatbenefits and progression. long term the salary will increase to £32480k basic + benefits, overtime and on call payments.You will be a minimum City and Guilds Level 2, NVQ Level 3 qualified in Mechanical Engineering or an apprentice trained Plumber with experience of undertaking a range of duties including;Attending breakdowns and undertaking planned and preventative maintenanceWorking with plant and associated equipment, heating, ventilation and boiler controlsWet plumbing duties including repairing and replacing toilets, sinks and maceratorsAssisting in the installation of new plant/equipment, HVAC installation and maintenance workBuilding control and automation,Hot and Cold water systems, security access controltooling equipment, pumps and compressorsGenerator engines, washers disinfectors, refrigeration fault finding.Drainage and sewage systems.We seek a Mechanical Fitter / Plumber with:Experience working in manufacturing, facilities, buildings maintenance or plumbing based role that has skills across maintenance spectrum.A can do attitude and a proven background and a stable career within engineering / plumbingCity & Guilds course Mechanical Engineering Part II (205-3) OR N.V.Q.
