Job Description

My client in Harrogate is looking for an up and coming finance individual to join their team.The business is progressive and growly globally.If you think you meet below dont hestitate to get in touch for more details.Responsibilities

Prepare monthly management accounts, related reports and commentary

Prepare or assist in the preparation of forecasts

Prepare other ad hoc reports as required

Monitor and report on cashflow

Work with the finance team to agree inter-company reconciliations

Liaise with the team on any issues/discrepancies with the monthly management accounts or reconciliations and work with the team to resolve any queries

Assist in audit queries and information for preparation of statutory accounts

Prepare tax returns, such as VAT reports

Maintain controls and processes

Coach other members of the team on accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll matters. Support them to resolve problems and queries.

Requirements: Essential

Excellent analytical and numerical skills

Good level of Excel skills and overall IT literacy

Strong communication skills with a need to be able to communicate with both finance and non-finance stakeholders

Deliver accurate output within agreed deadlines

Latter stages of CIMA/ACCA/Newly qualified

Understanding of accounting systems
