As such, the role offers the opportunity to really make the role your own and influence change. You will report intothe Head of Supply Chain and work closely with major stakeholders, both internal and external to ensure timely delivery and receipt of goods across the globe.So, what will be involved in the roleIf youve overlooked the movement of goods globally via third-party logistics previously youll know what it takes - effectively managing couriers and internal stakeholders holding both to account, monitoring KPIs and studying the market for the best rates.Youll achieve this utilising your super-organisation and planning skills, as well as your interpersonal skills and clear communication of goals. Being abreast of shipping and customs legislation is crucial for the role.Youll be based at the head office in Harrogate, the role is typically Monday to Friday and is predominantly office based although there is a hybrid model in place and after an initial training period working from home can be arranged.So whats in it for youThe opportunity to join an already market-leading business which is seeing significant international growth meaning progression within the company is extremely attainable.
