Job Description

Up to £50K depending on experience - Harrogate - Full Time - Permanent.Working closely with the development team to test new and existing functionality across multiple product features within our Control Panel.Key responsibilities include:

  • Creation, maintenance, and execution of test cases using Katalon Studio.
  • Growing the suite of automated test cases to be used for regression testing across multiple environments
  • Review and validate User and Technical stories to ensure proper test coverage for the provided requirements
  • Report bugs/defects, with recordings & repro steps, to the business using VSTS/TFS
  • Run the automation suite as required to ensure the environments are stable and creating reports of any failed test cases
  • Manage testers based in India:
    • o Ensure test cases are created and executed correctlyo Ensure defects are tested and reported correctlyo Ensure tester throughput remains at a high levelPerson Specification:The ideal Lead Testing Automation EngineerMUST have:
  • 2+ years’ experience with Katalon Studio or similar Selenium-based automation suite
  • Experience creating/running automated tests
  • Experience managing a testing team to ensure correct defect reporting
  • Familiarity with VSTS/TFS
  • Experience with Agile development
  • Ability to design, create and review automated tests for .Net application
  • Experience working within a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Highly organised with a logical, methodical approach to work
  • Comfortable explaining features and can recognise their benefits / drawbacks to sprint team members
  • Strong team player with good communication skills
