Job Description

We are currently supporting a Harrogate employer who are looking for an IT Project Manager to start with them on an immediate basis to complete a 3 - 4 month contract.Duties to include:

  • Develop a project plan which defines the project actions required to meet the project goals.
  • Identify all relevant stakeholders including their roles and responsibilities.
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation and delivery of all elements defined within the Corporate Business IT Infrastructure service provision contract.
  • Be responsible for the successful implementation within the agreed timescales.
  • Pro-actively manage any changes in project scope and time, identify potential risks and issues and propose mitigation plans.
  • Design User Acceptance Testing to ensure that the implemented deliverables are as required, fit for purpose and can be released/accepted with confidence.
  • Use extensive IT technical knowledge and experience to understand requirements, identify problems and make recommendations to the business to ensure effective solutions can be delivered.
  • Work in partnership with stakeholders to understand, analyse and map out all associated processes and procedures.
  • Communicate across departments and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to manage the impact of change.
  • Provide regular weekly and monthly project status updates to the business.
    • Salary flexible dependant on experience and availability.
