Job Description

HR ADVISORTHE COMPANYA new exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Advisor for a very successful business within the Facilities Management sector who are massively expanding. Due to this they are looking for an Advisor to work alongside their current HR Advisor with the viewto splitting the territory 50/50 with the new HR Advisor managing half of the sites across the UK and being a constant point of reference for each Site Manager. This role will be part of the HR team supporting the business with over 500 employees to delivera consistently high level of service and helping the company continue to develop and grow.WHATS ON OFFER

JOB DUTIES.The HR team are currently in the process of developing and implementing a range of exciting new projects including a new HRMS software system, employee forum and development of a more employee experience focused HR function. Your role will involve workingwith the HR Manager and HR Advisor to shape, develop and implement these projects as well as advising on generalist HR advice to your sites and updating company policies and procedures.Your duties will include the following:
  • Oversee all aspects of HR for your sites - a true generalist role.
  • Support with placing adverts, shortlisting, arranging and conducting interviews where appropriate.
  • Proactively working with line managers to fill vacancies.
  • Supporting the creation of internal communications - ensuring our channels are updated with relevant HR news and information.
  • Offer guidance to support line managers with probationary reviews, sickness etc and ensure process and policy is being followed.
  • Advise managers regarding performance, disciplinary, grievance and sickness of their team, keeping reports of advice given.
  • Lead with formal investigations, ensuring appropriate procedures are adhered to.
  • Support the Employee Engagement Strategy by gaining ongoing feedback via surveys.
  • Provide support to implement change to ensure we remain an attractive employer, have increasing staff engagement levels and reduce staff turnover
THE IDEAL PERSON..
  • CIPD Level 5 ideally or working towards this
  • Generalist all -round human resources experience in particular ER matters
  • Experience of working in a busy office environment is essential
  • Excellent communication skills and somebody who can multitask as you will be juggling a multitude of tasks at any given time.
