Job Description

Forest School Nursery PractitionerLocation: Harrogate and surrounding areasPosition Type: Full-TimeAbout Us:Veritas Education are looking for candidates who are looking to work in a thriving forest school nursery dedicated to providing young children with a unique and immersive outdoor learning experience. We believe in the power of nature to inspire and educate,and we are looking for multiple passionate and dedicated Forest School Nursery Practitioner to join our team.As a Forest School Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the curiosity approach and the development of young children through outdoor education. Your primary responsibilities will include:Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and participating in outdoor activities, nature walks, and play sessions.
  • Creating and implementing developmentally appropriate forest school curriculum.
  • Promoting a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Observing and documenting childrens progress and development.
  • Fostering a love for nature and the outdoors.
  • Building positive relationships with children and their families.
Qualifications:
  • A relevant early childhood education qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 3).
  • Paediatric First Aid.
  • Experience working with children in an outdoor setting.
  • Passion for nature and the outdoors.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
