Finance Assistant Harrogate, £27,000 Free parking / Hybrid 9am - 5:30pm CLD Recruitment are working with one of the UKs leading developer of purpose-built rental communities who are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team. This role would suit somebody who can work under pressure with the ability to prioritiseand manage high workloads. Understanding of a propertys PPM and compliance requirements. Finance Assistant duties: * Bank Reconciliation * Council Tax Reconciliation * Deferred Income Reconciliation* Accounts Payable - Processing Invoices, Statement Checks & Preparing Payment Runs.* Preparing Payroll Schedules ready for payment.* Intercompany Recharges B2B.* Chasing Rental Arrears via Email, Phone & Letter. * Supplier Statement Reviews* Will ensure the accuracy of all charges and credits posted to individual accounts and verify the accuracy of balances of Accounts. * Taking a proactive role in managing Accounts Payable function.. * Involvement in month end processes including Accruals, Prepayments & Reporting.* Dealing with difficult telephone calls and negotiation with clients. * Producing reports for internal review.Essential skills:* Organised with a positive and can do working attitude.* Professional, confident and diplomatic when liaising with others.* Strong confident telephone etiquette. * Accurate, efficient and organised with the ability to prioritise tasks as needed. * Skills & Experience Previous Accounting Background Xero Accounting Knowledge of working with Accounting software and affiliated systems.* Excel Wizard. * You are highly motivated and understand the importance of adhering to deadlinesExperience: * Good experience of working with Microsoft office* Partnering with other external sites* Understand marketing strategies and routes to market * Excellent customer relations skills, a sense of humour and plenty of energy and enthusiasm* Must be pro-active and able to use initiative to enhance the reputation of the building* Professional presentation, confident and outgoing in nature* Well organised, ability to problem solve and works under pressure with great decision-making skills* Able to demonstrate an organised and professional approach and ability to priorities* Previous handling of sensitive information and compliance with GDPRCLD Recruitment (Leeds) Ltd is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
