Job Description

European Traffic Supervisor - General Haulage - Harrogate - Up to £35,000.About the CompanyOur client seeks an ambitious, flexible and motivated individual to help supervise their European groupage services. Working as part of a team the successful candidate would assist the European Traffic Manager with load planning and vehicle routing, also liaising with customers, subcontractors and drivers. The role would suit someone with European logistics experience who is clear thinking and willing to take on supervisory responsibility of the department.European Traffic Supervisor - The Rewards

    • European Traffic Supervisor - Requirements
  • Experience in European road freight, both import and export.
  • Vehicle and load planning
  • Ability to make decisions and supervise other staff.
  • Communication skills
  • Ability to resolve problem
  • Attention to detail
  • IT Literate
  • A knowledge of the French or Spanish language would be useful
    • European Traffic Supervisor - Responsibilities
  • Working closely with the European Traffic Manager to ensure the smooth running of the department, and to maintain service levels to their customers
  • Liaising with customers, European partners, drivers and other internal departments to ensure that our services run as effectively and efficiently as possible
  • Ensuring that our customer’s collection and delivery requirements are met
  • To help maintain the profitability of the department
  • Load planning for both import and export services
  • Post Brexit to help manage the new requirements for correct and accurate documentation
